Professional History:
Ms. Urban is proud to have been selected as a Maryland Super Lawyers 2024 and 2025, and Rising Star for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. She is also one of fifteen attorneys with the distinct honor of being chosen as a Maryland Bar Association Leadership Academy Fellow for the 2008-2009 year. In this regard, Ms. Urban is being groomed to lead the Maryland State Bar Association in the future.
Following law school, Ms. Urban had the distinct pleasure of serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Lenore R. Gelfman of the Circuit Court of Howard County.
During law school, Ms. Urban served as the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Baltimore Law Forum and Assistant Manuscripts Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review. Ms. Urban was also chosen as a Teaching Assistant in the University of Baltimore LARW program, where she had the pleasure of teaching legal research and writing skills to first year law students. Ms. Urban was also bestowed the Clinic Excellence Award for her service in the Family Law Clinic.
Prior to law school, Ms. Urban worked for many years as a computer programmer and program analyst to the Naval Aviation Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (“NATOPS”) Program helping ensure safety of flight for our beloved service members.
